Bridal Luncheon

Ginger and Charlette threw me a lovely bridal luncheon at the Gardens Cafe at the Botanical Gardens. It was a great luncheon..... despite the rain. We had lunch on the patio while it stormed outside. The rain couldn't stop the great time we had. The mimosas and food were delicious!

Bachelorette Party

We had a great time on the night of the Bachelorette party! We started at Fire & Ice and had dinner then we went to the Blue Monkey for martinis and after that we went to the Rare Martini to finish out the night. We had a blast! Thanks girls for a wonderful time!

Lingerie Shower

Amy and Erin threw me a great lingerie shower. The food was great and the cake was absolutely adorable.

Couples Shower

Thanks Sherry & Glenn, Sasha & Carter and Erin for the wonderful Couples Shower. We had a blast!!! Everything looked great and the food was delicious..... especially the cupcakes!!! YUM

Erin's Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Hayden & Rowan!

Our beautiful twins, Hayden & Rowan turned 4 last week!!! The kids had a blast at their birthday party and absolutely LOVED their new bikes. It was a little tough decorating with such conflicting themes.... Hayden wanted spiderman and Rowan wanted a princess theme. We just had to settle for a multicolored birthday!!!! The cakes looked fabulous and tasted DELICIOUS! It turned out great.... Gussy even joined in on the fun!

Flower Girl/Ring Bearer

YAY!!!!!!!!! I finally found the flower girl dresses and the ring bearer outifit. They are absolutely beautiful. Hayden, Rowan and Mary Blanton are going to look fabulous!!!! I can't wait to see them all dressed up and walking down the aisle..... guess I won't actually get to see them walk down the aisle huh. It was a very long debate with Shane and I about what Hayden was going to wear in the wedding. Shane wanted him to wear a tux. I am an old school southern belle and I wanted him to wear a sweet little outfit that matched the flower girl dresses. Shane wasn't thrilled about the outfit but once I tried it on Hayden and he saw how precious he was he came around!!! This is truly turning into my dream wedding!!!! Only 7 weeks left!!!!!

Pampered Chef Shower!

Hannah, Linsey and Sabrina threw me a Pampered Chef shower last week and it was a BLAST! Everything looked great and the food was fabulous. Thanks so much to the wonderful hostesses and to everyone for the wonderful gifts. I got some really great cooking goodies and I can't wait to get in the kitchen!!!!

BIG WEEK!

We have a BIG week coming up. Just got home from dinner with Daniel and Candis. We had a great time. They are a great couple! Better get some rest before this week gets to a start for us. Shane works tomorrow and I have plans to work nonstop on wedding stuff. Wednesday should be full of getting the house ready for our company that is coming this weekend. Wednesday night we will be going to Sumo for Hannah's going away dinner. I am so sad to see Banana leave but I am so excited for her new start toward being a CRNA..... good luck Hannah!!! I am super pumped about Thursday..... Hannah, Linsey and Sabrina are throwing me a pampered chef shower. I am so excited about all the pampered chef goodies!!!!! YAY! The whole family will be in town for the shower so we are going to spend Friday wedding shopping. There are still a lot of items left to buy so we are going to have a girl's day and try to get a lot done. Friday night is Gee-Gee's (my grandmother) 75th birthday party! SO much to do this week but so much to look forward to!

Wedding Update!!!

The past few weeks have been CRAZY..... I have been sooooo busy planning this wedding but I have been super productive and I have gotten a ton of things done. I owe Erin and Hannah a HUGE thank you for all the help over the past few weeks and months. Hannah and I went and picked out my veil today and it is the most fabulous thing about the wedding thus far!!!! I LOVE IT! After finding the veil Erin and I headed on an invitation mission. Sasha, Sherry, and Erin are throwing Shane and I a "his & hers" shower and Erin & Amy are throwing me a lingerie shower so we had to pick out invitations for both those events. Both of them turned out sooo stinkin cute. (The bridal luncheon and rehearsal dinner invitations came in this week too and they are stinkin cute too)! After successfully completing the invitation mission we headed over to Target where we started gathering supplies for the "Wedding Day Survival Kit". It was such a fun day. Thanks so much Erin and Hannah. Tomorrow I'm going to take a break from the wedding planning and spend the day with my lovely groom to be. Coffee & Big Brother in the morning followed by wine, dinner, and candlelight tomorrow night!

Happy Birthday Mary Blanton!

Mary Blanton had her 3rd Birthday party on Saturday. She had a ball! She loved her flip flop cake and pinata. She looked like an angel in her precious bathing suit! 

Bayne Matthew Cline

Sasha had her baby and he is absolutely perfect! Bayne was born at 11:50 p.m. on Thursday July 16th. He was 18 inches long and weighed 5 pounds 2 ounces. Sasha looks fabulous and is doing great! Congratulations Sasha and Carter! I love you!!!!

Engagment Party!

My parents threw Shane and I a small engagement party on July 26th, 2009. It was a great opportunity for our families to meet and for the members of the bridal party to get to know one another. Shane and I are truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends.

Sasha's Baby Shower

My best friend and maid of honor is having a baby in July so me, Sherry, and Erin got together to throw her a baby shower. She is having a baby boy and is going to name him Bayne Matthew! I cannot wait for Bayne to get here. His nursery is decorated in a very cute sock monkey theme so we decided to decorate for the shower by using sock monkies. The shower turned out great..... great friends, great food, and lots of great presents for little Bayne!!!

Mathews Manor booked!!!!

We finally booked the place for the wedding. I knew I wanted Mathews Manor but I am so relieved to have put down a deposit and set an actual date. Friday, October 16th, 2009 I will be Mrs. Shane Dunn. Time to get crackin.....

Bridesmaid Dresses

Hannah and I went today and picked out bridesmaid dresses. They are so stinking cute. They are going to be chocolate brown with clover green sashes. The dress looked great on Hannah and I know all the rest of the girls with look fabulous too. Thanks so much to all my wonderful bridesmaids..... Sasha Cline, Ellen Smith, Hannah Reid, Linsey Phipps, Erin Lunceford, Ann Russell, and Sabrina Dollar. You girls are the best!!!

Shane's 36th Birthday

I threw Shane a surprise birthday party at his favorite place.... yes it was at Hooter's. All of our closest friends were there to help him celebrate his 36th birthday. After dinner we went to Starz to sing karaoke. Special recognition goes to both Shane and Meredith for their mad karaoke skills!

Easter

Shane and I had such a good time hiding easter eggs and watching Hayden & Rowan find them. They loved their baskets and all the goodies inside!!!
